Since early 2020, the Butler's Pantry has undergone a major internal and external clean up and redecoration, thanks to Lea Parish councillors and their partners carrying out work in their own time. Firstly the inside was redecorated and a water proofing coating was applied to the rendering. External decoration has made the Pantry look much smarter. New doors have been fitted to the store. The window frames in the old mullion windows have been painting. 1 new window and new guttering have been fitted. Extractor fans have helped reduce damp issues. External lighting improve nighttime security.
Next Council intend to install hot water and re-install the external soakaway..
The Butler's Pantry is registered with West Lindsey District Council to be the venue for a takeaway serving homemade cakes and tray bakes, and hot drinks.
Money raised by the Pop Up Pantry is being allocated to assist with the cost of this essential maintenance.
