Pop-Up Pantry

Butler’s Pantry
Lea Park
Sunday 11th July 2021 saw the launch of the Pop-Up Pantry at the Butler's Pantry in Lea Park.
The Pop Up Pantry has now become a popular event organised and hosted by Lea Parish Council. The aim of this voluntary venue is to raise much needed funds for the upkeep and maintenance of the Butler's Pantry and give residents the opportunity to chat to Parish Councillors..
Hot and cold drinks and delicious home-made cakes, bakes and sausage rolls are well received by all who take a walk in the park on Sunday afternoon or just turn up to buy the produce.
So far the money raised has allowed for the Council to purchase the paint for the external decoration of the Pantry, the replacement and repair of guttering and the replace a rotten window to the kitchen. It is hoped that hot water, better drainage and another internal toilet will come next. Two events this year will provide funds for the Lea Park 50th Anniversary Festival.
Pop Up Pantry dates for 2023 have been provisionally agreed, but always check posters on the Butler's Pantry and Facebook to confirm dates and times.
